When is this exam needed?

How it works

You lie on a table while a mobile arm passes over you (hip and spine). The exam takes 10 to 15 minutes, without any pain.

Preparation

No preparation. Avoid calcium supplements on the day of the exam. Report any recent exam with contrast agent.
